For our Client from automotive industry, we are looking for Data/Platform Architect
100% remote with visits in Wrocław once/quarter for workshops
We are looking for a Data Architect who will work across several teams and help shape the data architecture on the Azure and Databricks platform. This is a hybrid role that combines designing architecture for Data Products
, modernizing legacy solutions based on MSBI/SSIS
, and supporting audits and architecture reviews of vendor-managed applications
. The person in this role will define architectural standards, support engineering teams, and ensure consistency, security, and scalability across the data platform.
- Design and evolve the data architecture on Azure and Databricks.
- Define standards and patterns for Data Products and support their adoption across multiple teams.
- Modernize legacy solutions, especially migration from MSBI / SSIS to modern data platform solutions.
- Work with key Azure services such as Azure Storage, Databricks, ADF, Function App, Logic App, and Key Vault.
- Support teams in designing data integration, transformation, and data flow patterns.
- Ensure architectural consistency and alignment with security and enterprise standards.
- Support audits of applications provided by external vendors.
- Collaborate with external suppliers on solution evaluation, architecture reviews, and compliance requirements.
- Participate in technical discussions around platform development, modernization, and maintenance.
- Act as an architectural reference point for multiple teams when needed.
- Experience as a Data Architect
, Senior Data Engineer
, Platform Architect
, or in a similar role. - Strong hands-on experience with Azure and Databricks
. - Experience with Azure services such as Azure Storage
, ADF, Function App, Logic App, and Key Vault. - Experience designing data architecture and working across multiple teams.
- Practical experience with MSBI / SSIS and migration of legacy solutions to modern data platforms.
- Understanding of Data Products concepts.
- Experience working in an enterprise environment with strong focus on architecture standards and consistency.
- Experience working with external vendors or in a mixed delivery model.
- Understanding of audits, security, and control-driven requirements.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
