Regional IT Support Developer – MES Focus

Responsibilities
  • Provide L3 code-level support for MES application(s) and other critical regional applications.
  • Investigate and resolve complex application issues, including code, database, interface, and integration problems.
  • Participate in a regional support rotation to provide 7x24 hour coverage for critical MES application support.
  • Actively participate in Major Incident calls and Problem Management calls, providing feedback to identify preventive actions.
  • Build local environment for bug fixing and test corrections.
  • Analyze incidents, identify root causes, and implement sustainable technical solutions.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain application components using Angular, .NET, .NET Core, C#, SQL, and RabbitMQ.
  • Support MES ecosystem integrations with other business and manufacturing systems.
  • Collaborate closely with Site SMEs, Digital Factory teams, IT Support teams, infrastructure teams, Dev Ops, DBA colleagues, and regional/global counterparts.
  • Participate in regional and cross‑functional IT projects, providing technical expertise and development support.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge‑base articles.
  • Propose and implement continuous improvements to increase application reliability, performance, supportability, and user experience.
  • Support application testing, deployment validation, and post‑release stabilization activities.
What We’re Looking For

Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience in application development and/or application support. Strong technical experience with Angular, TypeScript, .NET, .NET Core, C#, SQL, RabbitMQ, REST APIs, Azure Dev Ops, Git, EKS, Docker, AWS services. Proven experience in troubleshooting complex application issues, analyzing logs, code, database queries, interfaces, and application behavior to identify root causes. Experience supporting business‑critical applications in a production environment.

Understanding of software development lifecycle, release management, and incident/problem management processes. Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Ability to work with multicultural teams across multiple countries and time zones. Willingness to participate in regional 24/7 support rotation and to travel regionally if required.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in application development, application support, or a similar technical role.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Experience with MES or production‑critical applications is a strong advantage.
