A multinational corporation headquartered in Canada/USA is looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Databricks and AWS.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in data engineering, cloud technologies, and large‑scale data migration projects. The role involves working with modern data platforms, ensuring scalability, security, data quality, and efficient data processing.
Requirements- 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Databricks
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience with AWS
- Experience with large‑scale data or platform migration projects
- Databricks:
Spark, PySpark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflows - AWS: S3, IAM, KMS, VPC, Private Link, Secrets Manager
- Advanced SQL (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, database migrations)
- Data Governance, Security & Compliance
- CI/CD, Terraform, Data Quality Testing & Monitoring Strong stakeholder communication and cross‑functional collaboration
- AWS Certified Data Analytics or AWS Solutions Architect
- Enterprise‑level experience with Unity Catalog and Data Governance
