IT Systems Administrator
Luminator Technology Group is a global provider of transportation solutions. We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to support our engineering team and maintain the reliability of our technology infrastructure.
What you will do:- Maintain and administer servers, storage systems, and virtualization platforms.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies.
- Oversee installation, configuration, and updates of operating systems and business applications.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of critical services.
- Support LAN/WAN/Wi‑Fi infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and optimize network performance.
- Maintain VPN access and remote‑work solutions.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures (patching, antivirus, endpoint protection).
- Monitor logs, alerts, and potential security incidents.
- Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and external standards (ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
- Provide 1st–3rd line support to employees onsite and remotely.
- Manage hardware lifecycle: laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices.
- Train users on tools, systems, and security best practices.
- Maintain inventory of hardware, software licenses, and subscriptions.
- Participate in global and local IT projects (cloud migration, system upgrades, rollouts).
- Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve IT service delivery.
- Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
- Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in IT administration or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, and networking fundamentals.
- Experience with virtualization, backup systems, and endpoint management tools.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure).
- Knowledge of scripting (Power Shell, Bash).
- Good understanding of cybersecurity principles.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a customer‑oriented mindset.
- English proficiency;
French or German is a plus. - Experience in international and multi‑site environments.
