ONLY POLAND BASED - Employment Contract

A Senior Security Analyst is a member of Security Technology Management department. In addition to possessing deep technical knowledge, a Senior Security Analyst interacts extensively with customers and partners using polite professional etiquette.

STM Senior Security Analysts performing the following duties:

  • Providing technical support for Level Blue IT security products and systems
  • Use strong TCP/IP networking skills to perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems.
  • Use security skills to troubleshoot and diagnose product problems.
  • Configure, manage, and upgrade Firewall (FW), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Internal Vulnerability Scanners (IVS), and Intrusion Protection Systems (IPS) platforms.
  • Analyze and respond to security events from FWs, IDS, IPS, AV and other security data sources.
  • Interface with a variety of customers in a polite, positive, and professional manner.
  • Take responsibility for customer satisfaction and overall success of managed services.
  • Act as an escalation point for other staff members while providing training and support.
  • Respond in a timely manner (within documented SLA) to support tickets.
  • Document actions in tickets to effectively communicate information internally and to customers.
  • Documenting issues in a knowledgebase format.
  • Work with internal experts/external vendors to resolve technical issues.
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, and security practices.
  • Resolve problems independently and follow documented escalation procedures.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements:

  • Intermediate knowledge in at least two of the supported technologies.
  • Basic knowledge in at least two of the supported technologies.

Must have intermediate skills/knowledge in some of the following:

  • Network security concepts & Information security best practices
  • TCP/IP networking
  • Cisco/Fortinet/Fortri SASE/Palo Alto/Prisma/Zscaler/Checkpoint network security products
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Strong oral (phone) and written (email) communication skills
  • Self managed and team oriented
  • Deadline and detail oriented
  • Highly motivated

Additionally Desired:

  • Scripting (Bash, Python, SQL)
  • Experience with penetration testing techniques and tools
  • Other major vendor network security products

Preferred:

  • At least 2 years experience in Information Security or Networking
  • Preferred candidates will have one or more certifications in Security/Networking including Security+, GSEC, GCIA, GCIH, CISSP or other security specific vendor/product certifications

Education:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a college or university degree is a plus.
