In this role, you will join a team building and operating a Microsoft Azure cloud platform that supports business‑critical services for a global client. You will work on the infrastructure, automation, and reliability foundations that enable secure and scalable software delivery. Your contribution will directly impact platform stability, operational efficiency, and the overall developer experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Design and evolve Azure cloud and Dev Ops architecture standards together with the Azure Lead to support scalable and maintainable platform growth
- Build and maintain Terraform‑based infrastructure modules, ensuring consistency, environment separation, and operational reliability
- Develop and optimize Git Lab CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery and improve deployment quality across environments
- Operate and enhance AKS clusters and containerized workloads, including networking, ingress, and platform configuration
- Implement observability solutions using Dynatrace, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics to improve monitoring, troubleshooting, and platform insights
- Apply Dev Sec Ops practices by managing secrets, access controls, network security, and platform compliance requirements
- Collaborate with development, architecture, and platform teams to improve developer workflows and streamline engineering processes
- Create and maintain technical documentation covering platform standards, operational procedures, and architectural decisions
- Travel to the client site in Doha, Qatar, when required for onboarding and project activities
- Advanced experience in Dev Ops, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering roles, including 5+ years working with production environments
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including AKS, API Management, Application Gateway, Front Door, Key Vault, Service Bus, Event Hub, Virtual Networks, and Private Link
- Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, including reusable modules, remote state management, and multi‑environment deployments
- Advanced experience operating Kubernetes‑based platforms in production, preferably Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), including Helm deployments and containerized applications
- Strong expertise in Git Lab CI/CD, including pipelines, runners, environments, container registries, and reusable deployment templates
- Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts, including DNS, load balancing, private networking, network security groups, and connectivity patterns
- Practical knowledge of Azure security and identity services, including Entra , RBAC, Managed Identities, Azure Policy, Key Vault, and Defender for Cloud
- Working proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash, Power Shell, or Python, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize operational processes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts and trade‑offs to technical and business stakeholders in English
