Location: Town of Poland
Cybersecurity Engineer for Edge Network Security
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade edge security solutions using Next-Generation Firewalls.
- Zero Trust & SASE
- Implement Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and SASE solutions for secure remote access.
- Engineer and manage network security controls across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
- Threat Protection
- Develop DDoS mitigation strategies, IPS/IDS policies, SSL inspection, and automated threat prevention.
- Platform Lifecycle Management
- Lead the design, deployment, optimization, and continuous improvement of edge security platforms.
- Automation & Infrastructure
- Develop security automation using Infrastructure as Code, APIs, and orchestration technologies.
- Monitor security platforms, investigate complex incidents, and implement long-term technical improvements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and development teams to deliver secure network services.
- Network Security Experience
- 5+ years of experience designing and managing enterprise network security environments.
- NGFW Expertise
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto and/or Fortinet Next-Generation Firewalls and advanced security features.
- Experience implementing network security controls across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Zero Trust & SASE
- Strong knowledge of Zero Trust architectures, ZTNA solutions, and Secure Access Service Edge.
- Automation Skills
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Python, or similar tools for security automation.
- Network Infrastructure
- Strong understanding of BGP, OSPF, DNS, TLS/SSL, cloud networking, and security enforcement.
- DDoS Protection
- Experience implementing DDoS mitigation and perimeter protection using enterprise security platforms.
- Communication Skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
- Security Operations
- Experience supporting enterprise network security operations and incident response.
