At Faerch, you'll play a key role in ensuring our digital infrastructure remains secure, stable, and ready to support a growing international business.

Team Purpose

The Digital Infrastructure team is responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the IT foundation that enables Faerch's operations across multiple locations. We support the infrastructure, networks, systems, and workplace technologies that keep our business connected, productive, and secure.

About Faerch

Faerch is a leading supplier of circular, rigid food packaging with integrated recycling capability. We serve food manufacturers, food service providers, and retailers around the world with our network of state‑of‑the‑art production facilities across Europe and the US. Today, more than 5,400 employees are part of the Faerch Group, which is part of the A.P. Moller Holding.

Working at Faerch means joining a purpose‑driven company focused on sustainability and innovation. We invest in your growth and offer a supportive, international environment where people thrive.

Your Role

As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will help ensure the reliability, security, and performance of Faerch's IT infrastructure across local and regional locations. You will work closely with Service Desk colleagues, vendors, and central IT teams to support daily operations, resolve technical issues, and contribute to infrastructure improvements and digitalisation initiatives.

You will take ownership of assigned technical areas and drive tasks from analysis through to resolution, helping to maintain a robust and future‑ready IT environment.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who enjoys hands‑on technical work and takes pride in delivering reliable IT services. You are naturally structured in your approach, thrive on solving problems, and communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

You take ownership, follow through on commitments, and enjoy collaborating across teams to achieve the best outcomes for the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and maintain servers, networks, workplace infrastructure, and operational IT platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure incidents and service requests.
  • Coordinate infrastructure changes, upgrades, and improvement activities.
  • Maintain accurate asset, configuration, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with vendors, Service Desk teams, and internal IT stakeholders to ensure stable operations and continuous improvement.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Experience working with IT infrastructure, networking, systems administration, or related technologies.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure operations, troubleshooting, and incident management.
  • Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across different locations and functions.
  • Strong organisational skills with a structured and proactive way of working.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Relevant certifications within Microsoft technologies, networking, security, ITIL, or infrastructure disciplines are an advantage but not essential.
Success in This Role

Within your first 6‑12 months, you will have established yourself as a trusted infrastructure partner, contributing to stable and reliable IT operations across your assigned areas.

You will successfully drive incidents and service requests to resolution, maintain high‑quality documentation, and help reduce operational risks by strengthening processes, knowledge sharing, and infrastructure resilience. Over time, your contributions will support Faerch's continued digital development and business growth.

Meet the Team

You will join an international Digital Infrastructure team that combines deep technical expertise with a collaborative and pragmatic approach. The team works closely with Service Desk, cybersecurity, application specialists, vendors, and business users to deliver reliable IT services across the organisation.
