About the Company

Ajaia is a rapidly growing AI consultancy and product studio dedicated to helping organizations move from experimentation to real results. We operate across four core pillars: AI Strategy and Advisory, AI Engineering and Automation, Workforce Training and Enablement, and Custom Product Development.

In addition to client services, Ajaia builds proprietary AI products, copilots, and vertical solutions that solve high-value industry problems. This dual model allows us to translate hands‑on implementation experience into scalable products while continuously refining our approach through real‑world deployment.

Our operating model combines deep technical execution with practical change management, enabling enterprises to deploy secure, compliant, and high‑impact solutions that drive measurable operational value. From executive road mapping to production‑ready systems and workforce upskilling, Ajaia embeds intelligent tools directly into the workflows that matter most.

Mission:
Help organizations win the AI moment.

Position Overview

Ajaia is hiring an IT Operations & Infrastructure Lead to own the company’s internal technology operations and infrastructure management. The role focuses on managing cloud environments (GCP and Azure), administering internal tools, handling device management for a distributed international team, and ensuring everything stays secure, documented, and running. This is a hands‑on role, not a management layer. You will configure, troubleshoot, document, and automate.

Security and compliance responsibilities (HIPAA, SOC 2) are part of the scope, but the primary emphasis is on keeping the company’s infrastructure reliable, scalable, and well‑managed. The company is AI‑first, and you are expected to use AI tools to automate IT operations and accelerate your work. The role starts as an individual contributor with the potential to grow into a team lead as the company scales.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 4–7 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • IT operations and infrastructure management
    • Systems administration and cloud administration
    • Cloud platform management (GCP, Azure, or multi‑cloud environments)
    • Internal IT support and endpoint management for distributed teams
  • Hands‑on experience managing cloud infrastructure across GCP and Azure
  • Experience administering Google Workspace at an organizational level
  • Strong understanding of networking, storage, compute resources, and cost optimization across cloud platforms
  • Experience with endpoint management (MDM), device provisioning, and remote‑work infrastructure
  • Ability to manage IT vendor relationships and procurement
  • Experience building and maintaining IT documentation, runbooks, and knowledge bases
  • Understanding of security fundamentals: access controls (SSO, MFA, RBAC), encryption, and monitoring
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and SOC 2 requirements at the infrastructure level
  • Comfortable working autonomously, managing competing priorities, and communicating with non‑technical teams
  • Proficiency with AI tools in daily work
Preferred Requirements
  • Relevant certifications:
Google Cloud Professional, Azure Administrator, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent
  • Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code or configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, or similar)
  • Scripting ability for automation (Python, Bash, Power Shell, or similar)
  • Experience implementing and maintaining backup and disaster recovery procedures
  • Background supporting distributed, remote‑first teams across multiple countries and time zones
  • Experience managing container orchestration (Kubernetes, Cloud Run, or similar)
  • Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare or financial services
  • Background in small or mid‑size companies where the IT function required broad, end‑to‑end ownership
Benefits
  • Base salary:
Approximately $28,000–$35,000 USD per year (calibrated for target regions)
  • Performance bonus:
Opportunity to earn up to 100% of base salary in performance‑based bonuses
  • Salary and total compensation depend on experience, location, and demonstrated performance during the hiring process
