Consulting Manager - Automation

We're looking for a Consulting Manager – Intelligent Automation to join our team in Poland.

In this role, you will drive the delivery and expansion of EPAM’s Intelligent Automation (IA) consulting services across global clients. Acting as a strategic leader and subject matter expert, you will guide organizations through their AI and hyperautomation journey, defining enterprise-wide strategies, leading large-scale engagements and influencing executive stakeholders. Your mission is to enable business efficiency, reduce costs and enhance customer experience by implementing transformative automation solutions that free people from repetitive tasks and unlock innovation.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives and senior leaders, shaping technology and AI-driven automation strategies
• Define enterprise-wide IA strategies integrating Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Machine Learning (ML), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Smart Workflows and Cognitive Analytics
• Develop business cases and establish measurable outcomes (KPIs, ROI) for automation programs
• Stay current on emerging trends in AI, Generative AI and automation platforms (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Power Platform) to strengthen EPAM’s offerings
• Manage the successful delivery of complex IA programs, ensuring on-time, on-budget execution
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and engineering teams to ensure technical soundness, scalability and alignment with client objectives
• Lead process assessment and re-engineering to identify high-impact automation opportunities
• Establish robust governance and risk management frameworks to ensure quality and compliance
• Drive pre-sales efforts including proposals, client presentations and statement of work definitions
• Build and expand client relationships to identify new opportunities for Intelligent Automation services
• Contribute to practice development by creating best practices, accelerators and thought leadership materials

Requirements

• 10+ years in technology consulting, including 5+ years in Intelligent Automation, RPA and AI/ML transformation programs
• Proven experience in a leadership role (Manager, Senior Manager or equivalent) managing global teams and diverse stakeholders
• Deep technical understanding of Intelligent Automation technologies:
• RPA/BPM Platforms:
  UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Microsoft Power Platform, Camunda or Appian
• AI/Cognitive:
  Agentic Orchestration, ML, NLP, Computer Vision for business automation use cases
• Cloud: AWS, Azure or GCP experience
• Strong consulting toolkit: strategy design, business value realization, ROI modeling, executive workshop facilitation
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills with ability to influence C-level stakeholders
• Familiarity with process improvement methods and delivery methodologies (Agile, SDLC)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field

Nice to have

• Certifications in RPA (UiPath, Automation Anywhere) or AI-related technologies
• Experience with Intelligent Automation in regulated industries or large-scale digital transformation programs
