Data Steward - ASAP

We are looking for an experienced Data Steward to join a banking project focused on data governance, data quality, and regulatory compliance. You will play a key role in improving regulatory reporting, resolving data quality issues, maintaining business glossaries, implementing data quality controls, and supporting BCBS
239 initiatives, including data lineage definition.

Key responsibilities:

• Support data governance and data management activities across regulatory reporting processes
• Identify, analyze, and help resolve data quality issues
• Maintain and improve business glossaries and data definitions
• Implement and monitor data quality controls
• Define and document data lineage across relevant systems and reporting flows
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Contribute to compliance with BCBS
  239 and internal data governance standards

Requirements:

• Experience in data governance, data management, or similar roles
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry
• Strong data analysis capabilities
• Understanding of data warehousing and reporting
• Knowledge of database structures
• Experience with MS Office, JIRA, and Confluence
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Fluent English, written and spoken

Nice to have:

• Experience with regulatory reporting
