Purchasing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Search for and evaluate new suppliers to support business growth and supplier diversification.
• Execute part development projects and maintain related documentation.
• Monitor development schedules and provide regular status updates.
• Manage purchase orders and track supplier deliveries to ensure on-time performance.
• Negotiate supplier pricing and contract terms.
• Identify quality issues and coordinate corrective actions with suppliers and internal teams.
• Collect and manage cost data to support purchasing decisions.
• Ensure compliance with Polish regulations and EU directives.
• Prepare monthly and yearly reports related to purchasing activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.

• University degree.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.
• Advanced English language skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of purchasing and procurement processes.
• Understanding of part development processes.
• Experience in supplier evaluation and supplier relationship management.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Understanding of raw material market trends.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
