Overview
As a Material Planning Specialist at Electrolux Group, you will ensure uninterrupted availability of components for production while maintaining optimal inventory levels and supplier relationships. You will be based in Wroclaw, Poland, at our Supply Chain Center, responsible for material and production planning, aftermarket operations, and supply chain digitalization and optimization initiatives.
Responsibilities- Manage inventory levels by monitoring component availability and balancing inventory costs with uninterrupted production.
- Oversee the management of obsolete and slow‑moving materials and coordinate introductions of new components.
- Support production planning by providing accurate information on material availability, supplier capacity, and potential supply risks.
- Manage purchase orders for production materials, ensuring accurate on‑time placement, monitoring fulfillment, and resolving discrepancies.
- Coordinate supply activities to deliver the right quantity to the right place at the right time, proactively addressing delivery delays or supply issues.
- Drive process improvements across supply and inventory management by identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and shorten lead times.
- Analyze data and prepare reports related to inventory, supply performance, costs, and production risks.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Production, Quality, Warehouse, Engineering, Procurement, and Controlling teams to ensure alignment and consistency across the supply chain.
- Prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities while balancing operational needs.
- Proactively solve problems related to material shortages, delivery disruptions, production plan changes, and component quality issues to minimize operational impact.
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain, logistics, material planning, or a related area.
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and MS Office applications.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers across different regions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
