We are looking for a Storage Engineer (Ceph) to join our client's team at a leading provider of high-performance edge and cloud solutions for the media and entertainment industry.

Join the Edge Cloud Team to operate, optimize, and innovate SDS platforms, ensuring high performance and reliability for Gcore's cutting‑edge cloud services.

• Operating and optimizing SDS platforms, including Ceph and Linstor.
• Deploying, configuring, and rigorously testing SDS solutions in both production and staging environments, promptly addressing incidents and emergencies.
• Crafting and implementing comprehensive monitoring strategies for SDS storage systems to ensure peak performance.
• Exceeding SLA (Service Level Agreement) requirements for specific SDS deployments.
• Collaborating closely with the infrastructure team to design and implement efficient backup mechanisms.

• A solid intermediate level of Linux proficiency with 4‑6 years of experience.
• Proven track record of successfully managing production Ceph clusters while meeting SLA commitments.
• In‑depth understanding of the S3 protocol and its associated features.
• Strong multitasking skills and effective time management abilities.
• Proficient English language skills at least upper‑intermediate level.
