We are currently looking for experienced Process Quality Team Leader. As part of the Quality Team, you will be leading and taking responsibility of programmes to maintain and drive improvements to build world class products. This will involve leading assembly, inspection and test of micro‑components activities in a cleanroom environment of incoming materials, parts and work in progress assemblies. You will be required to drive and lead development and creation of manufacturing standards and associated documentation.
Lead engagement in key Product and Process related projects in support of driving a Lean Quality Manufacturing Culture.
Key tasks:
- Quality process management/development in production
- Managing a team of Engineers and Technicians
- Optimization of quality processes
- Responsibility for quality documentation in the subordinate area
- Supervision in the preparation of reports and analyses of qualitative indicators
- Participation in audits (internal/external)
- Lead troubleshoot problems including data analysis with equipment, devices or products (internal issue/returns from customer): 8D/PDCA processes
- Supervision on production block stock – quality process issues
- Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment for quality and productivity
- Participate in developing, building and testing of prototypes, new products, processes or procedures
- Participate in planning and scheduling and manage time to meet agreed on time delivery
- Higher technical education
- Experience on similar position within production company (min 2 years
- Knowledge of Problem Solving Tools like 8D, Ishikawa, 5
Whys, PFMEA, Control plans etc - Knowledge and understanding of electronics and circuitry will be an advantage
- Familiar with using Microsoft Excel, or MES systems for data entry
- Very good spoken and written English
- An excellent team player who can positively influence the team and wider business departments, being able to contribute ideas to improve process times, quality, yield and designs
- Attention to detail and an awareness of Health & Safety practice
