The Machine Operator will operate blow-mold/PET/injection molding machines, grinders, trimmer machines, and conveyor systems. The role is responsible for troubleshooting process problems and performing minor maintenance to ensure continued operation of the production line while following Good Manufacturing Practices.

• Operates blow-mold/PET/injection molding machines (including wheels, reciprocating or shuttle machines) to produce quality bottles.
• Demonstrates safe work practices by wearing correct PPE and following safety policies.
• Demonstrates punctuality and adheres to the work schedule.
• Works well with others, maintaining a One Team Cross Functional attitude.
• Embraces continuous improvement processes to drive change within the plant.
• Adheres to company General Manufacturing Policies and safety standards.
• Ensures the work area is clutter-free, clean, and organized.
• Introduces preventive maintenance for mold, neck and blow pin and other mechanical changes.
• Adheres to quality control and blow-mold process procedures.
• Performs bottle inspections, such as drop tests for designated lines.
• Inspects the quality of bottles during production, packaging, and labeling.
• Performs audits, weighs and checks quality.
• Adjusts machines to meet product specifications.
• Troubleshoots and performs minor repairs on blow-mold and support equipment.
• Escalates all bottle abnormalities, defects and quality issues when found.
• Monitors supply levels of packaging materials and replenishes as needed.
• Handles and moves finished goods to designated areas.
• Prepares and documents daily production reports, including rejects, regrinds, and line efficiencies.
• Prepares maintenance request forms and documents equipment repairs.
• Receives instructions on specific job tasks from Lead Operator or Supervisor.
• Collaborates with management for additional duties as assigned.
• May require reasonable mandatory overtime due to business needs.

• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Basic computer experience.
• Blow-mold experience.
• Prefer High School diploma or GED.
• Completion of Altium Production/Machine Operator training within 90 days of hire date.

Requires frequent standing, walking, and use of hands to grasp, handle, feel, reach out, over, and below. Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling may be required. Frequently requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and/or moving up to 50 pounds.

• Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts.
• Noise level is usually loud.
• Temperature inside the plant fluctuates between hot and cold.
• Personal protective equipment is required.
