Our client is a well-established international manufacturing company operating within the specialty chemicals and advanced materials sector. They are currently seeking a Process Engineer to join one of their European production sites in Poland.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys improving manufacturing processes, solving technical challenges, and working closely with production, quality, engineering, and maintenance teams in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, optimize and improve manufacturing processes to maximise efficiency, quality and safety.
- Investigate process deviations and implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, waste reduction and cost optimisation.
- Analyse production data to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, operating procedures and technical standards.
- Support the implementation of new equipment, process changes and capital investment projects.
- Work collaboratively with Operations, Quality, Maintenance and Engineering teams to improve plant performance.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
- Participate in root cause investigations and implement preventive actions.
- Support the scale-up and implementation of new manufacturing processes where required.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for professionals with:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Approximately 2–5 years' experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience in process optimisation and continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with production, quality and maintenance teams.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous.
- Good understanding of process control, manufacturing operations and industrial safety.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluency in English is required. Additional European languages would be an advantage.
