! Care Givers is looking for a part time RN Supervisor to join our team in the Jamestown NY area. This is not your typical nursing job. You’ll travel to client homes within Chautauqua County (primarily Jamestown & surrounding towns), performing staff supervision/on the job training in client homes, and conducting client assessments.

This is the perfect opportunity for an RN who retired from a hospital or facility system, but still wants to make a difference in their community. Or for an RN looking to work around school schedules.

• Branch: Jamestown, NY
• Status: Part Time – 20+ hours a week, primarily weekday daytime hours, flexible scheduling
• Rate: $32.50 – $35 / hour (depending on home care experience)
• Reliable vehicle & valid driver’s license are a must for this position.

DUTIES:

• Ensure that home care clients receive the highest quality care by ongoing assessment of the client.
• Supervise the implementation of the physician’s plan of treatment.
• Develop a plan of care and evaluate client needs and employee performance.
• Conduct training classes for new staff.
• Manage med setups for clients and perform insurance assessments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Registered Nurse currently licensed in New York State with at least one year experience as an RN (recent experience preferred).
• One year of home care RN experience preferred – either with a licensed or certified home care agency or hospice.
• At least six months of supervisory experience is preferred.
• Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is required.
• Knowledge of home health regulations is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to maintain a flexible schedule.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license required.
