Licensed Practical Nurse

Overview

DaVita is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an outpatient dialysis center. You can make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease, delivering care in an empathetic and compassionate manner.

This position may involve training at a facility or training clinic other than your home clinic, withfloat duties to other facilities during and after training. A flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

• Build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and their families in an intimate outpatient setting.

• Deliver care to patients with multiple co-morbidities requiring individualized treatment plans, leveraging a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge.

• Paid training.

• Current LPN/LVN license in the state of practice required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• IV certification required if required by state regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completed training program approved by the medical director and governing body as required by CMS guidelines prior to operating the water treatment system, where applicable.
• BONENT or CHT certification preferred or as required by state regulation.
• Minimum of one year’s experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
• Basic computer skills; proficiency in MS Word and Outlook required; functional proficiency in DaVita computer systems within 90 days of hire.
