Description
Summary/Objective: The Quality Assurance Inspector plays a crucial role in upholding the quality standards of production operations and finished components.

- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to ensure the quality of final products.
- Identify and employ suitable inspection methods to verify that assigned products and components adhere to specifications.
- Assess and authorize the quality of completed parts.
- Evaluate whether non-conforming parts can be salvaged.
- Document the results of machining operations accurately.
- Generate reports and paperwork detailing inspection outcomes.
- Perform additional related duties as necessary.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of two years of experience as a quality control inspector is required.
- Five years of experience as a quality control inspector is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of inspection and measurement techniques and tools.
- Familiarity with machines and machining processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word or similar software for report preparation.
- Extended periods of sitting at a desk and engaging with a computer.
- Capability to navigate the production facility for inspections.
- Able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
Office setting, manufacturing floors, and controlled temperature environments.
Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time hourly position requiring work Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend shifts.

Pay Range$22.00 Hourly to $32.00 Hourly.
