We are seeking a committed and highly motivated Biostatistician to join a research and innovation project carried out under the RESET initiative
, aimed at strengthening the institution’s research capacity by enhancing competencies in biomedical data acquisition, management, and analysis, as well as the implementation of advanced research methodologies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive management of research data and the delivery of biostatistical analyses supporting the project’s objectives. Key responsibilities will include ensuring data quality, integration, and interpretation of analytical results in close collaboration with research and clinical teams, while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain Data Management Plans (DMPs) for the project.
- Organize and oversee the collection, validation, cleaning, storage, and archiving of research data.
- Ensure the quality, integrity, and completeness of clinical, phenotypic, and omics datasets.
- Collaborate with IT teams on the design, implementation, and maintenance of databases and analytical infrastructure.
- Prepare and execute statistical analysis plans in line with research project objectives.
- Conduct biostatistical analyses and interpret results to support project deliverables and scientific objectives.
- Prepare analytical reports, data summaries, and contribute to scientific publications and project reports.
- Provide methodological support to research teams, including guidance on study design, statistical approaches, and analytical tools.
- Implement and monitor compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality standards related to research data management.
- Support project audits and participate in reviews conducted by funding agencies and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with clinical and scientific partners to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability
- A university degree in biostatistics, mathematics, computer science, bioinformatics, epidemiology, or a related field.
- Proven experience working with biomedical, clinical, or population-based data, particularly within research and development projects.
- Experience in planning and conducting statistical analyses, including knowledge of statistical methods used in clinical and observational studies.
- Practical knowledge of analytical tools.
- Experience in research data management, including the development and implementation of Data Management Plans (DMPs).
- Ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams, including scientific, clinical, and IT professionals.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with large and complex datasets.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under time pressure in a project-based environment.
- Proficiency in English sufficient for working with scientific documentation and participating in international projects.
