Candidates applying for the post must possess the following qualifications and skills:
1) hold a Master’s degree or a PhD,
2) have a background in health sciences,
3) have professional experience in work related to cancer registration, have proven knowledge of the use of AI tools, have knowledge of epidemiological research into cancer, and be proficient in the use of the ICD and ICD-O classifications,
4) has at least one original full-text publication in their academic record, published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal included on the Ministry of Science and Higher Education’s list of scientific journals within the two years prior to submitting their application for the post of assistant,
5) has a good command of English

Specific Requirements
Candidates entering the competition should submit the following documents:
1) a declaration of entry into the competition for the post in question, together with the following statement: “I consent to the processing of my personal data contained in the documents I have submitted by the Maria Sklodowska-Curie National Research Institute of Oncology to the extent necessary for the competition procedure, in accordance with the Act of 10 May 2018 on the protection of personal data (Journal of Laws of 2019, item 1781)”;
2) a declaration to sign the following statements: “I, the undersigned, declare that on the date of signing the employment contract or an annex to the employment contract – for employment in a research post – I shall sign the following statements: ‘Declaration of consent to be classified as a member of staff engaged in research activities’ and ‘Declaration on field and discipline’ (field: medical and health sciences, discipline: medical sciences);
3) documents confirming professional qualifications and the requirements set out in point 1 of the competition notice,
4) a personal statement or CV;
5) a list of academic publications, broken down into original papers, review articles, chapters in textbooks, participation in research grants/projects, and a description of other achievements (in research, teaching and organisational activities)
