Scope of research work
- Developing research projects (national and international)
- Conducting pot, micro-plot and field experiments
- Assessment of current challenges facing agriculture and identification of opportunities and limitations in their implementation resulting from applicable law, strategies and international agreements
- Analysis and compilation of results obtained in experiments
- Publishing research results in scientific journals
- Presenting research results at scientific seminars and conferences
- Participation in training courses organised by the Institute and external entities
- Participation in research and work carried out by the Department
Research Field Agricultural sciences » Agronomics Education Level Master Degree or equivalent
Skills/Qualifications
Mandatory requirements:
- Master's degree or doctoral degree in agricultural sciences or related fields
- Willingness to undertake research issues justified by the needs of the Institute,
- Authorship or co-authorship of at least two scientific publications from the list of journals of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education,
- At least 2 years of experience in scientific and research work, or in professional work related to the field of research (e.g. postgraduate or doctoral studies, scientific internship, participation in research teams),
- Aptitude for scientific work (e.g. willingness to seek new solutions in agriculture through experimentation and comparison with the literature, participation in research projects, presentation of research results at conferences and scientific workshops)
Ability to statistically process research results, analyse obtained data and prepare publications,
Specific Requirements
Documented knowledge of spoken and written English,
Knowledge of plant growth and development (weeds and crops)
Ability to work in a team,
Category B driving licence.
Languages ENGLISH Level Good

Additional InformationRemuneration of an employee hired as an assistant:
- The basic salary ranges from 105% to 220% of the applicable minimum wage.
- In the case of participation in research programmes or projects, the employee receives additional remuneration as provided for in the IUNG-PIB Company Collective Labour Agreement.

- A statement that the Institute will be the primary place of employment upon commencement of employment,

- Competition results and employment:
- The results will be announced no later than 2 weeks after the end of the competition,
- The Institute will employ the candidate from the 1st day of the month following the announcement of the competition results and a positive opinion from the Scientific Council of IUNG-PIB.
- The Institute has implemented and maintains the standards of the European Charter for Researchers and the principles of the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers and the OTM-R policy, in accordance with the guidelines and recommendations of the European Commission.
