We are the Department of European Studies at Poznań University of Economics and Business, focusing on the analysis of socio-economic transformations in the European Union. We currently host the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence "Resilient and Transforming Europe" (TRANSFORM EU).
We invite experienced researchers interested in visiting under the MSCA framework to collaborate with our team on current and future projects addressing key challanges for economies, societes, businesses, and individuals.

We offer a visiting researcher position under the MSCA Staff Exchanges/hosting scheme, including:
- Collaboration on EU-related research projects
- Teaching seminars or guest lectures (optional)
- Co-authoring publications and developing joint proposals
Research Field Economics » International economics Education Level PhD or equivalent
Research Field Management sciences Education Level PhD or equivalent
Research Field Political sciences Education Level PhD or equivalent
Skills/Qualifications
- Holders of a PhD in social sciences, economics, European studies, or related fields
- Proven track record in research and publications
- Mobility-rule compliant (no more than 12 months in Poland in the past 3 years)
- Fluent in English;
Polish language skills are a plus
Research themes include:
- Green and digital transition in Europe and its impact on sustainability
- Innovation ecosystems, including deep-tech, AI evolution in Europe, and their impact on competitiveness
- Dynamics of regional development under twin transition
- Building of socio-economic resilience at macro, mezzo and microlevels
- EU role in the global arena (with special focus on Asia and Latin America)
We welcome quantitative, qualitative, and interdisciplinary approaches.
