  • 1. NGS analyses, genomics and transcriptomics
  • Conducting scientific research in bioinformatics, genomics, transcriptomics and molecular biology, with particular emphasis on NGS data.
  • 2. Planning, performing and interpreting bioinformatic analyses, including RNA‑seq (gene and transcript expression, alternative splicing, isoforms), as well as genomic and transcriptomic analyses, including identification of genetic variants and integration of molecular, biological and clinical data.
  • 3. Consulting on research projects concerning experimental design, selection of sequencing methods, and assessment of data quality and analytical feasibility.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
  • 1. NGS analyses, genomics and transcriptomics
  • Conducting scientific research in bioinformatics, genomics, transcriptomics and molecular biology, with particular emphasis on NGS data.
  • 2. Planning, performing and interpreting bioinformatic analyses, including RNA‑seq (gene and transcript expression, alternative splicing, isoforms), as well as genomic and transcriptomic analyses, including identification of genetic variants and integration of molecular, biological and clinical data.
  • 3. Consulting on research projects concerning experimental design, selection of sequencing methods, and assessment of data quality and analytical feasibility.
  • 2. Bioinformatics pipelines and HPC infrastructure
  • Developing, optimizing, and implementing bioinformatics pipelines for NGS data analysis, including quality control, automation, analysis of large datasets, and use of HPC infrastructure.
  • Developing and implementing new data analysis methods and further developing the Institute's bioinformatics infrastructure.
  • Documenting analyses and ensuring their reproducibility and appropriate storage of data, code and results in accordance with good scientific practice.
  • Continuously improving professional qualifications and implementing new tools and methods in bioinformatics and computational biology.
  • 3. Immunology, TCR/BCR and cell therapies
  • Analysis of TCR/BCR repertoires and investigation of immune responses, including in the context of cancer immunology.
  • Providing bioinformatics support for research on therapies, including CAR‑T and other cell therapies, through molecular data analysis, characterization of genetic constructs and evaluation of sequencing results.
  • 4. Publications, grants and dissemination of results
  • Processing research results, performing statistical analyses and visualizations, and preparing publications, reports, presentations and conference contributions.
  • Participating in the preparation of scientific publications and grant applications, including development of research concepts, methodologies and analysis plans, and interpretation of data.
  • 5. Collaboration, projects and organization of research
  • Collaborating with research teams on the planning of NGS experiments, selection of analytical methods and interpretation of results.
  • Participating in national and international research projects and interdisciplinary collaboration in bioinformatics, genomics, molecular biology, immunology and oncology.
  • Performing other scientific and organizational duties related to project implementation and the activities of the organizational unit.
