The Institute of Genetics and Animal Biotechnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences has the HR Excellence in Research logo awarded by the European Commission to institutions which implement rules of the "European Charter for Researchers" and the "Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers".

The Institute of Genetics and Animal Biotechnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IGAB PAS) in Jastrzębiec n/Warsaw is seeking scientists with expertise and hands-on experience in experimental embryology of mammals.

As an Assistant Researcher inthe IGAB PAS, youwill:

• Contribute to ongoing research tasks on mammalian embryology;
• Perform laboratory analyses;
• Prepare scientific publications;
• Present your research at scientific meetings

Research Field Biological sciences » Biology Education Level Master Degree or equivalent

Skills/Qualifications

• Master's degree in animal, life or health sciences, biotechnology or related field
• A minimum of 3 months of provenprofessional experience.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Reliability and punctuality
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Scientific achievements, e.g. in the form of conferences or original scientific articles will be an additional asset.

Desired

Qualifications:

• Organisational skills and independence;
• Experience in laboratory work, particularly in the field of mammalian embryology;
• Documented theoretical and practical training in animal experiments (compliant with the requirements of Polish law and Article 23 of the European Directive 2010/63/EU)
• Availability

Languages ENGLISH Level Excellent
