About This OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Account Manager in the Chemical Solutions and Monitoring (CSM) division. The role involves working closely with customers across diverse industries, providing advanced chemical water and process treatment solutions, and acting as a trusted technical advisor to enhance energy and water sustainability, optimize profitability, and protect assets.
What You'll Do- Technical Innovation: Analyze, build, and optimize chemical treatment programs for cooling water, boiler water, wastewater, memchem, and process applications.
- Strategic Communication: Conduct sample testing and deliver technical service reports that analyze customer data, interpret results, and recommend improvement initiatives.
- Value Creation: Execute our Account Management Excellence Program, including service plans, value generation plans, and business reviews to demonstrate measurable customer value.
- Sustainability Leadership: Plan and communicate Veolia's value generation plans through projects that drive water and energy sustainability and improve asset protection.
- Revenue Growth: Meet and achieve annual revenue targets while managing margin reviews, price escalations, and commercial negotiations.
- Business Development: Maintain a healthy sales funnel and secure new, recurring, profitable business opportunities for consistent year‑over‑year growth.
- Safety Excellence: Work safely at all times, following all EHS policies and procedures.
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or Engineering/Technologist (Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical). Minimum 8+ years of direct experience in the water treatment industry also qualifies; high school education is required.
- Required Experience: Chemical water and process treatment experience.

Experience:
4+ years of technical sales with demonstrated success in account management, revenue growth, and customer relationship building. - Consultative Selling: Experience with consultative selling and technical solution development.
- Driver’s License: Full valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
- Key Characteristics: Technical curiosity, superior problem‑solving skills, proficiency in mathematical calculations and chemistry concepts, mechanical and electrical aptitude for small‑scale equipment and instrumentation, strong interpersonal and communication abilities, customer‑focused mindset, active listening, excellent time management, ability to work independently and collaboratively, comfort in industrial environments, continuous learning orientation, and physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Compensation – The salary range is $100,000 – $130,000, based on market data, candidate experience, and internal equity.
