Job Overview
The Distribution Channel Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth through the development and management of the distributor network for our mining products. This role focuses on building strong partnerships, delivering product training, executing marketing strategies, and achieving sales targets across assigned regions. The manager acts as a liaison between the company and its distributors, ensuring alignment on business goals and customer satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with distributors and channel partners. Regularly engage distributors through meetings, joint sales calls, and strategic planning sessions.
Define and execute territory sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets. Identify growth opportunities within distributor accounts and lead commercial negotiations.
Recruit and onboard new distributors where needed to expand market reach. Provide tools, training, and ongoing support to help distributors succeed.
Collaborate with the marketing team to roll out campaigns, product launches, and promotional initiatives. Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all distributor touchpoints.
Track distributor performance using CRM and sales reporting tools. Analyze sales data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities. Present findings to leadership.
Visit key end customers with distributors to understand needs and drive demand. Gather market intelligence and competitor activity to inform business strategy.
Ensure distributors represent the brand in accordance with company values and standards. Support compliance with applicable commercial and regulatory requirements.
Proven ability to manage and grow a network of distributors.
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with external partners.
Skilled in pricing, contract negotiations, and sales forecasting.
Experience in coordinating marketing efforts with channel partners.
Effective presenter and communicator, able to represent the brand professionally.
Ability to interpret sales data, track KPIs, and draw actionable insights.
Comfortable with regular regional travel to support distributors.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in sales or channel management, preferably in Mining or Aggregate / Construction products. Experience working with distributors or indirect sales channels.
Languages: English required; additional languages a plus depending on region.
