Workster is partnering with a fast-growing e-mobility startup to recruit a Business Development Manager B2B.
In this role, you will take full ownership of sourcing and sales operations, driving partnerships with retailers, leasing providers, and manufacturers to expand the company’s market presence. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in scaling a business with a mission to revolutionize electric mobility.
- Regional Ownership:
Manage and grow business relationships in a key bicycle region in your area, taking full responsibility for sourcing and sales efforts. - Retailer Partnerships:
Build and maintain long-term partnerships with retailers, promoting a trade-in program to source used e-bikes from private individuals. - Stock Purchasing:
Identify opportunities to purchase excess stock from partners to expand product offerings. - Leasing Company Relations:
Develop strong relationships with leasing companies to acquire returned bikes and increase inventory. - Manufacturer
Collaboration:
Work closely with leading e-bike manufacturers to secure high-quality products and strengthen industry ties. - Process Optimization:
Streamline procurement and purchasing processes to ensure product quality, efficiency, and consistency. - Negotiations:
Negotiate favorable purchasing conditions and terms with partners to maximize value for the company.
- 2-5 years of experience in sales, purchasing, or account management.
- Proven relationship-building skills with the ability to foster long-term partnerships across various levels, from local bike shops to CEOs of major manufacturers.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable deals.
- High willingness to travel frequently across Germany to build and maintain strong partner relationships.
- Fluent in German (native level) and English (excellent written and verbal communication).
- Proactive, results-driven, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
