• Research Field Agricultural sciences » Zootechnics Education Level PhD or equivalent
• Research Field Medical sciences » Veterinary medicine Education Level PhD or equivalent
• Research Field Biological sciences » Biology Education Level PhD or equivalent
• Research Field Agricultural sciences » Agronomics Education Level PhD or equivalent

Skills/Qualifications

• a doctoral degree in the discipline of animal science and fisheries, or veterinary science, or biology, or agriculture, or food technology
• experience in working with animals in the nutrition aspect
• scientific and popular science achievements documented by scientific publications, conference reports, and/or popular articles
• experience in scientific work
• professional competencies documented by training and/or courses
• ability to use MS Office package software, statistical programs
• English, spoken and written, at a level that allows cooperation in an international team and conducting classes in English, as well as publishing scientific articles
• in the case of foreigners, the command of the Polish language, spoken and written, is required to the extent that enables conducting classes with students

Specific Requirements

The candidate is expected to have a predisposition to work with students, availability and creativity, a high personal culture, the ability to work on tasks and teamwork, and constant improvement of professional competencies

• conducting classes with students of the following majors:
  Animal Science, Veterinary Inspection, Zoophysiotherapy, including in the field of feed science and livestock and pets nutrition
• organizational activities for the Department, Faculty and University
• undertaking administrative tasks related to the teaching process
• supervision of diploma theses (engineer’s and master’s theses)
• publishing of popular science articles
• conducting activities in the scientific discipline of animal science and fisheries, including scientific research and publication of scientific articles

The contest will be adjudicated no later than three months from the date of this announcement. Information on how the candidate will be informed about the result of the competition: by phone or by e‑mail. Candidates whose offers are not accepted shall have their documents returned. Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology reserves the right not to select any candidate. Competition procedures are conducted in accordance with the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers and the Open, Transparent and Merit‑based Recruitment of Researchers (OTM‑R).
