HIRE opportunity to work at a leading manufacturer in Jamestown, NY (Onsite). With us, it’s all about finding the job that’s just right.
Pay Rate: $38.70/hr, plus shift premium and comprehensive benefits
Hours: 2nd – 3pm – 10 pm DIRECT HIRE
3rd – 10 pm – 6 am

What’s a typical day as Industrial Electrician III – Machining Skilled Trades? You’ll be:
- Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment, including automation, robotics, PLCs, CNC machines, and servo drives
- Assembling, installing, and testing electrical systems in accordance with safety protocols and energy management procedures
- Leading preventive and corrective maintenance activities, contributing to uptime/downtime analysis, and suggesting system improvements
- Interpreting technical documentation, schematics, manuals, and blueprints to solve problems effectively
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities
- Upholding HSE standards—stopping work and reporting hazards or injuries as necessary
- Mentoring apprentices and less experienced team members, delivering training and technical guidance
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and foster an inclusive environment
- Working overtime and weekends as required to support production needs
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent (2-year technical degree or higher preferred)
- Possess at least 7 years of experience in industrial electrical roles, OR hold a Journeyman Trade Certificate with relevant experience, OR have a 2-year technical degree in a related field plus 3 years’ experience in industrial electrical/machine repair
- Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills with complex electrical systems, automation, and controls
- Are proficient in the National Electrical Code (NEC), Industrial Electrical Code (IEC), and 70E safety certification/authorization
- Bring advanced skills in PLCs, HMI interfaces, servo drives, CNC equipment, automation, and robotic controls
- Are able to provide mentorship and technical guidance to apprentices and team members
- Are willing and able to work overtime and weekends as needed
