Window Service Technician

SRS Distribution is seeking a Window Service Technician to support our wholesale building products customers. In this hands-on role, you will install, repair, and service residential and light commercial windows on-site, ensuring quality workmanship and safety. Responsibilities include measuring openings, diagnosing leaks and hardware issues, using hand and power tools, and handling glass and window units. You'll interact directly with contractors and homeowners, complete work orders, and collaborate with branch teams.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and replace residential and light commercial windows to manufacturer specifications
• Inspect openings, measure, and prepare materials, tools, and site for window service work
• Diagnose window performance issues, including leaks, drafts, and hardware failures
• Use hand and power tools, sealants, and flashing materials safely and effectively
• Load, secure, and unload windows, glass, and related materials from company vehicles
• Follow all safety policies, OSHA standards, and company procedures on job sites
• Communicate with customers on-site, explain work performed, and resolve basic concerns
• Document work orders, materials used, and service details via mobile or paper forms
• Collaborate with branch operations, warehouse, and sales teams to schedule and complete jobs
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment in clean, safe operating condition
