Senior Front End Engineer

As a Senior Front End Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building innovative, user-centric mobile and web applications. Reporting directly to the CTO, you are expected to take full ownership of the Front End development processes, utilising your extensive knowledge of React.js and React Native. This position fully remote
. Ideal candidates will be proactive and eager to embrace challenges, possessing the autonomy to significantly influence product direction and oversee projects from inception through to launch.

• Lead the development of mobile and web applications using React.js and React Native
  , ensuring robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions.
• Collaborate closely with the CTO, designer, and product manager to define technical requirements and transform visionary ideas into tangible products.
• Translate designs from Figma into functional and visually appealing user interfaces.
• Drive the architecture and build of new features, focusing on high user engagement and seamless functionality.
• Uphold high standards of code quality and maintainability with thorough code reviews and adherence to best development practices.
• Write comprehensive unit, feature and e2e tests.
• Develop CI pipelines to ensure high quality of software delivery.
• Take initiative in problem-solving, proactively identifying and addressing potential setbacks throughout the development lifecycle.
• Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the team.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in frontend development, with expert-level proficiency in Typescript, React.js and React Native.
• Demonstrable track record of developing high-quality mobile and web applications from scratch.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment where rapid prototyping and iterative development are paramount.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead projects and interface directly with senior management.
• Fluent English with a minimum of B2+ level, enabling effective communication in a professional setting.
• Familiarity with Gen AI technologies is a plus.
