About the team
You will join the STP Platform Enablement team, a core engineering team responsible for enabling and modernising a critical Straight‑Through Processing (STP) platform used in a large-scale financial environment.
Our mission is to support the evolution of the STP platform towards a cloud‑native architecture on Microsoft Azure, while providing robust, secure and scalable foundations for multiple delivery teams.
The team works in a collaborative, supportive and learning‑oriented environment, where knowledge sharing and continuous improvement are key values.
Your role
As a Junior Software Engineer, you will actively contribute to an ongoing cloud modernization journey. You will work closely with experienced engineers and architects, learning how to design, build and operate modern platforms in a regulated financial context.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants to grow their technical skills, gain exposure to enterprise‑grade systems, and progressively take more responsibility under the guidance of experienced professionals.
What you will do
- Contribute to the development and evolution of .NET based services supporting the STP platform
- Participate in the migration and modernization of applications toward Microsoft Azure
- Work with platform components such as containers, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services
- Collaborate with senior engineers to apply best practices in software engineering, security and reliability
- Support delivery teams by enabling reusable frameworks, tooling and standards
- Learn how to operate software in production critical financial systems
What you will learn
- Modern .NET development in an enterprise environment
- Azure cloud fundamentals and cloud native design principles
- Platform engineering concepts (infrastructure as code, automation, observability)
- How large‑scale financial systems are designed, secured and operated
- Agile ways of working within a cross‑functional engineering team
You will also have strong support to pursue Microsoft and cloud certifications as part of your professional development.
Your profile
- Recently graduated or with first professional experience in software engineering
- Basic knowledge of C# / .NET
- Interest in cloud technologies, especially Microsoft Azure
- Curiosity, willingness to learn, and a collaborative mindset
- Comfortable working in English in an international environment
- Experience with Azure, containers, or Dev Ops is a plus, but not required — training and mentoring are part of the role.
