We are looking for a hands‑on Lead Cloud & Data Platform Architect to help shape and evolve a large-scale hybrid cloud platform supporting mission‑critical enterprise systems and modern data services.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong engineering and platform architecture background who enjoys building cloud‑native environments, designing scalable distributed systems, and enabling engineering teams through modern platform capabilities.

You will work closely with platform engineering, Dev Ops, and product teams to architect and deliver resilient, scalable, and observable data platform solutions across private and public cloud environments.

• Design and evolve cloud‑native hybrid data platforms across private and public cloud environments
• Architect scalable distributed systems using Kubernetes and modern cloud‑native technologies
• microservices
• messaging/pub‑sub

• high availability and fault tolerance
• Support engineering teams in translating architecture concepts into implementation roadmaps
• Drive technical decision‑making for platform and data services
• Contribute to platform modernization and automation initiatives
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across engineering, product, and platform domains
• Participate in architecture reviews and technical solution design

• Strong hands‑on experience with Kubernetes ecosystems and cloud‑native technologies
• Experience designing distributed systems and scalable platform architectures
• Proven background in Data Platform Architecture including:
• Data Lake
• Lakehouse
• Data Warehouse
• data‑intensive applications
• Experience with public cloud and hybrid cloud environments
• Strong understanding of:
• microservices
• event‑driven architectures
• HA/scalability patterns
• observability frameworks
• Experience with Data Ops/Dev Ops practices and CI/CD automation
• Engineering mindset with ability to work closely with delivery teams
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder collaboration experience

• Experience with MLOps or Data Mesh
• Background in regulated or enterprise‑scale environments
• Experience with platform engineering and developer self‑service platforms
• Exposure to private cloud or sovereign infrastructure environments
