Senior ETL Developer ETL, SQL, Python, Kafka Warsaw, Gdańsk

Responsibilities:

• Developing and engineering ETL solution with high standard of reliability and stability
• Partnering with business partners, data users and solution architects while anticipating and addressing business demands
• Managing end-to-end solution design and timely, high-quality delivery
• Optimizing workflows with AI tools to increase efficiency and maintainability of a solution delivered from business demand to working application
• Supporting the team with technical leadership, code quality practices, and modern engineering standards

Requirements:

• Ability to combine hands‑on coding skills with architectural mindset and design approach
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Experience applying AI tools and practices to improve productivity and software quality
• Strong communication skills with proven experience in client‑facing roles
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Solid experience with ETL processes
• Strong knowledge of:
  Relational databases, SQL and Python
• Experience working with event‑driven architectures, including technologies such as Kafka
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs
• Experience working with Spring Boot or similar frameworks
• Practical experience integrating AI tools into development workflows, including: requirement elicitation, documentation and refactoring
• Strong independent work ethic with high level of ownership
• Well‑developed organizational skills and ability to manage tasks effectively

Nice to have:

• Solid understanding of data warehouse principles
• Basic knowledge of data modelling or willingness to learn
• Knowledge of Java
