We are looking for an experienced Performance Test Engineer to help ensure platform scalability, reliability and performance across complex distributed environments.
Performance Test Engineer - Responsibilities:- Designing and executing performance, load, stress and scalability testing strategies
- Building and maintaining automated performance testing frameworks using tools such as Apache JMeter or Gatling
- Identifying bottlenecks across applications, infrastructure, APIs and databases
- Supporting performance testing integration within CI/CD pipelines
- Analysing system behaviour and producing actionable performance insights
- Supporting performance tuning across cloud-native and microservices environments
- Performance Tools: Apache JMeter, Gatling, Load Runner, Blaze Meter
- Languages: Java, Python, Bash
- Messaging: MQ systems
- Databases: SQL performance optimisation, indexing, query analysis
- 5+ years of experience in performance testing / performance engineering
- Strong experience designing and automating load and scalability testing
- Good understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures
- Experience with CI/CD integration and observability tooling
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of Java performance concepts (GC, heap, threading)
- Comfortable working in Linux environments
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
