Senior Big Data Engineer; AWS

About The Role

In this role, you will contribute to building scalable cloud-based data solutions and data processing pipelines on AWS. You will work on modern data and AI-related initiatives, supporting the development of reliable data platforms and processing frameworks while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and innovation-driven environment. This role offers opportunities to work with emerging technologies and experiment with new approaches to solving complex data challenges.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data processing pipelines and cloud-based data solutions on AWS
• Build and optimize data workflows using Python and SQL
• Develop solutions supporting large-scale data ingestion, transformation, and analytics workloads
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective data solutions
• Support batch and streaming data processing initiatives across different data domains
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to continuous improvement of data platforms and engineering practices
• Explore and evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and approaches to improve solution quality and efficiency
• Contribute to the full project lifecycle, from discovery and prototyping to production implementation
• Collaborate within distributed teams and actively share knowledge and best practices

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Big Data, or related fields
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Hands-on experience in developing data solutions on AWS cloud platform
• Experience in designing and building scalable data pipelines and data processing solutions
• Knowledge of batch and streaming data processing concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly learn new technologies
• Upper-intermediate or higher level of English
• Experience with video, image, or audio processing pipelines for AI applications (as a plus)
• Experience with IoT data platforms and data processing solutions (advantageous)
• Familiarity with NVIDIA technologies, GPU-accelerated computing, or AI infrastructure (as a win)
