Software Engineer Senior VTK

Position Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer at FIS, you’ll join a team of experienced professionals developing the Open Payment Framework Tools. Your main focus will be building and maintaining features of the OPF Visual Toolkit which enables clients to build payment solutions more efficiently, significantly reducing their implementation time and accelerating FIS’s delivery of tailored solutions.

Help analyze and design new features, proactively solve technical challenges, and ensure timely project execution.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or an equivalent combination of education, training or work experience.
• Five years of experience as a Java developer with proven knowledge of the Java SE 17 platform and design patterns.
• Proven experience with Eclipse IDE, XML processing and JUnit.
• Experience with Eclipse RCP or willingness to learn.
• Oracle, PostgreSQL, Jenkins, Bit Bucket, GIT and Maven knowledge will be a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical audiences.
• Good attention to detail, self‑disciplined and motivated.
• Ability to prioritize and self‑manage time and tasks.
• Very good English.
• Experience with the development of financial software applications is a plus.

Pay range:  –  PLN annual. Actual starting pay will be determined by job‑related skills, experience and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact starting pay. Please consult a recruiter for the specific salary range for your preferred location.
