Overview
Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems.
Provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software. Ensures quality computer integration into the overall functions of scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing. As a Tester in Acxiom’s Marketing Services division, you will be on the front lines of testing our core products and solutions. You will also be involved with cutting edge technology used to automate the building, testing, and reporting on our various products.
Our Test Engineers are embedded in agile engineering teams and own the testing tasks involved in bringing new and exciting products to market.
- Works daily as a part of an agile engineering scrum team and is responsible for manual testing and test automation tasks the team deems priority.
- Actively contributes to the quality of Acxiom products through creation of test scenarios, test data and test verification.
- Works and collaborates with other team members (within and outside specific scrum teams) and begins utilizing Acxiom test frameworks and industry standard development and automation toolsets.
- Professionally communicates with stakeholders by providing both verbal and written communication on a daily/weekly basis.
- Experience in frontend and/or backend testing.
- Experience with REST API, No
SQL databases (MongoDB) and/or with SQL/MSSQL. - Working knowledge of software development tools/methods (Jenkins, Git, Test Rail), or alternatives.
- Comfortable with object‑oriented programming fundamentals.
- Good knowledge of English language, spoken and written.
- Working knowledge of technologies such as:
Java script (Node.js, Mocha, Grunt), Java, Maven, Selenium (Page Object). - Familiarity and working knowledge of Cloud related technologies.
