QA Automation Engineer; AI-Assisted Test Development

Overview

We are looking for a proactive and adaptable QA Engineer to support the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for a fast-moving product track. This role is ideal for someone who is technically curious, AI‑fluent and eager to collaborate closely with developers, product teams and QA leadership. We prioritize adaptability and the ability to extract value from AI-generated output over mastery of any specific tool or framework.

• Contribute to quality processes across planning, development, and release stages of the SDLC
• Use AI‑assisted development tools to design, generate, validate, and maintain test assets at scale
• Review and critically evaluate AI‑generated test output before it enters the repository, catching false positives, coverage gaps, and brittle assertions
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and QA leadership to define quality standards and communicate risk clearly.
• Think beyond local scripts, understand how test solutions scale from 10 to 10,000 and architect accordingly
• Adapt processes quickly in response to a changing product environment

• Experience in software QA, testing or software development
• Working knowledge of one or more programming languages, including JavaScript, Python, Java, C# or Type Script
• Hands‑on experience with test automation frameworks (Cypress, Playwright or similar) covering API and web UI testing
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with AI coding assistants and extract reliable, production‑ready output
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Proactive and curious approach – willing to learn and grow
• Ability to think critically and adapt quickly in a changing environment

• Experience building or improving AI‑assisted tooling (prompts, pipelines, generators)
• CI/CD integration of automated test suites
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments
• Quantifiable impact from past QA work (time saved, defect catch rate, coverage improvement)
