We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a high-caliber team of backend engineers working on our core infrastructure – including distributed systems, low-latency stream processing, and data storage ’ll be responsible for managing engineers building mission‑critical services, such as our Kafka ingestion platform, Click House data layer, and event‑driven workflow engine. It’s the core of the product. You’ll work closely with cross‑functional leads in product, infrastructure, and AI to help define technical strategy, drive execution, and grow our engineering culture.

You’ll have to coordinate and work with people in North America.

• Lead high‑impact engineering teams:
  Manage high‑performing remote engineering teams with accountability for delivery, execution quality, and team health in a fast‑paced environment.
• Technical strategy & reliability:
  Own the architecture and reliability of high‑scale systems that process millions of daily events with minimal latency. Define and drive the technical roadmap.
• Process innovation:
  Implement scalable engineering processes across planning, estimation, quality, and production reliability. Incorporate AI‑driven methodologies to improve team productivity.
• Drive operational excellence:
  Lead planning and delivery cycles, ensuring teams stay focused and execute against aggressive deadlines.

  Partner with product and design teams to align roadmaps and execution plans.

• 3+ years of experience managing high-performing platform and backend teams building on distributed architecture.
• 7+ years of hands‑on backend experience working on large scale, low latency distributed systems, event streaming, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong technical background – ideally familiar with technologies like Kafka, Click House, Postgres, Redis, and Flink.
• Proven track record of operational excellence, including establishing disciplined planning processes and consistently delivering predictable, high-quality execution against business commitments.
• Proven ability to scale engineering organizations by defining effective development processes, driving engineering excellence, and embedding best practices across multiple teams.
• Track record of leading complex technical projects and collaborating cross-functionally with product and infra.
• Comfortable in high-growth, fast‑paced environments with lots of ambiguity and autonomy.
