Embedded Linux​/Yocto Developer

Responsibilities

• Integrate and maintain embedded Linux software on existing hardware platforms.
• Support Linux kernel configuration, occasional patching, and low-level debugging.
• Contribute to user-space tooling, scripting, and automation tasks.
• Collaborate with other teams to support Linux topics across multiple products.
• Help improve internal Linux processes, testing, and documentation.
• Grow into contributing to architecture and long-term platform strategy over time.

• Solid experience with embedded Linux development in user space and/or kernel space.
• Familiarity with the Yocto Project or another Linux build framework such as Buildroot. Candidates without Yocto experience should be motivated to learn it on the job.
• Ability to work with multiple programming and scripting languages, especially Bash and Python.
• Experience debugging and maintaining Linux-based systems.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Team-oriented mindset and ability to work in an international environment.

• Texas Instruments and/or NXP SoC experience.
• SWUpdate or similar update frameworks (e.g., RAUC).
• Embedded CI/CD experience, especially LAVA.
• Knowledge of security concepts such as CVE handling.
