We are looking for an engineer with strong expertise in Python, SQL databases, and some frontend technologies (Type Script, React) to join our client s team and support the development of web applications for end-users in the SD-WAN-based network ecosystem.

What else you should know:

• The team consists of less than 15 people, including an architect, project manager, backend developers, frontend developers, and Dev Ops engineers.

• We use SCRUM/Agile methodology.

• Our tech stack for the project includes:
  Python, SQL and PostgreSQL, Type Script, React, Docker, git, Git Hub Actions, k8s

• The client is based in the US.

We work on multiple interesting projects at the same time, so it may happen that we’ll invite you to an interview for another project if we see that your competencies and profile are well suited for it.

As part of the project team, you will be responsible for:

• Developing REST APIs in Python

• Implementing new features for the application backend and frontend

• Troubleshooting issues

• Creating documentation

• Working in an agile methodology and collaborating with a team

• Supporting teammates

• Attending daily standups with the customer

As a Senior engineer, you must meet the following criteria:

• 8+ years of experience

• Proficiency in Python

• Deep knowledge of web APIs development, knowledge of design patterns and clean code guidelines

• Practical experience with FastAPI

• Deep knowledge of relational databases and SQL, hands-on experience with PostgreSQL

• Practical experience with Type Script and React

• Solid understanding of git and CI/CD (Git Hub Actions)

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience with network-related projects

• Good command of English (B2 level or above)

Beyond the criteria above, we would appreciate the nice-to-haves:

• Familiarity with graphite

• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS

• Familiarity with Flowbite React
