We are looking for a Senior
Data Engineer to support the design, development, and enhancement of our client’s enterprise data platform. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on data engineer with strong experience building data pipelines, integrating data from operational databases, and working with modern cloud data warehouses.
- Build and maintain Python-based ETL/ELT workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and validation
- Design and develop data pipelines to ingest data from operational databases (PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and other OLTP systems) into Snowflake
- Develop scalable and performant data models in Snowflake.
- Implement and maintain Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) data models to support analytics and downstream applications.
- Collaborate with application developers, business users, and data consumers to understand data requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on data engineering experience.
- Strong Python programming skills with experience building ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Solid SQL skills, including query optimization and data modeling.
- Strong experience with Snowflake.
- Experience integrating data from OLTP databases, including PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience implementing Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) or similar layered data lake/lakehouse models.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Familiarity with dbt or similar transformation frameworks
- Experience with CI/CD for data engineering workflows
