Overview
ABC Fitness is building an intelligent platform for the fitness industry, embedding AI into products, workflows, and decision points. Our goal is to automate routine work, personalize experiences, surface actionable insights, and help operators move from reactive management to proactive, data‑informed execution. This role focuses on creating software, systems, and workflows that make AI a practical force multiplier for our engineering teams.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Build AI‑powered internal development tools to help engineering teams understand, automate, and improve the software development lifecycle.
- Create reusable tools, APIs, workflows, and interfaces so teams can adopt AI‑assisted development patterns without building everything from scratch.
- Develop systems that aggregate events from CI/CD, deployments, approvals, security scans, quality gates, source control, work tracking systems, and service dependency data into a coherent view of software change.
- Design and implement durable AI‑assisted workflow infrastructure, including planning, execution, validation, branching, human‑in‑the‑loop pauses, tool use, checkpoints, and state management.
- Ensure internal AI platforms are production‑ready, observable, cost‑aware, and resilient, with strong tracing, state management, failure handling, and operational visibility.
- Define patterns, abstractions, and best practices to enable teams to safely and consistently use AI in day‑to‑day workflows.
- Partner with engineering, platform, security, and product teams to understand workflows and remove friction from software delivery.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals: experience building production‑grade backend systems, APIs, workflow engines, internal platforms, developer tools, or distributed systems.
- Experience building tools that improve engineering velocity, reliability, delivery quality, or operational awareness.
- Hands‑on experience with LLM‑powered systems, agentic workflows, retrieval patterns, tool‑use flows, or AI‑assisted automation in production or near‑production environments.
- Knowledge of agentic software delivery patterns such as graph‑based coding‑agent workflows, non‑interactive coding agents, and software‑factory‑style approaches.
- Platform mindset: thinking in reusable capabilities, paved paths, shared abstractions, durable systems, and long‑term adoption across teams.
- Expertise in managing state, execution, retries, branching, validation, and human gates in complex multi‑step systems.
- Production mindset: designing for reliability, observability, security, cost, latency, and maintainability from the start.
- Bias toward enablement: building practical, usable tools that are adopted by other engineers.
- Experience building internal developer platforms, CI/CD systems, deployment tooling, workflow engines, service catalogs, or software delivery intelligence platforms.
- Experience with agentic workflow systems, graph‑based execution, durable orchestration, or human‑in‑the‑loop automation.
- Experience with LLM observability, evaluation, prompt/version tracking, model routing, or cost controls.
- Experience integrating with source control, work tracking systems, CI/CD platforms, deployment systems, security scanners, or service dependency graphs.
- Experience with Open Telemetry, platform portals, internal control planes, or developer experience tooling.
- Development teams move faster and make fewer manual handoffs when using internal AI tools.
- Clear, reliable answers to questions about what shipped, when it shipped, who approved, what changed, and what depends on it.
- Durable, trustworthy AI‑workflow engines that can pause for humans, resume safely, and branch when needed.
- Internal AI platform capabilities become trusted, default parts of engineering workflows, embedding AI throughout development practices.
Anticipated compensation range: 430,000–460,000
PLN per year, commensurate with experience, qualifications, skills, location, and market.
