Software Project Mgr/ Lead, Software Architect
As an Engineering Manager, you will drive the successful delivery and execution of projects within cross-functional teams. You will handle end-to-end technical planning, translate business and product requirements into well-defined EPICs and technical user stories, and orchestrate collaboration among engineers, product managers, QA, and UX. This role demands a deep understanding of software design, hands-on capability in Java and Spring Boot, and the leadership skills to mentor engineers, optimize team velocity, and maintain high standards of observability and engineering quality.
RequirementsEducation:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Technical
Experience:
8–10 years of experience as a Software Developer or in a similar hands-on technical role.
5+ years of strong experience building production systems using Java and Spring Boot.
Strong backend engineering expertise (frontend exposure is a plus).Good understanding of modern deployment practices (CI/CD pipelines, release management).Leadership
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of proven engineering leadership experience managing high-performing teams, including mentoring engineers and conducting performance reviews.
Methodologies & Planning:
Solid grasp of Agile methodologies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, iterative delivery) and experience translating complex requirements into well-structured EPICs and tasks.
Soft & Supervisory
Skills:
Problem-solving, adaptability, strong attention to detail, resource allocation/bandwidth management, stakeholder management, and excellent risk and dependency tracking.
