Senior Java Developer With Kotlin (AI):
Leading and developing the Language Intelligence engineering team, responsible for building and scaling intelligent solutions supporting language-driven features within the product ecosystem with an accent on architectural decisions and engineering excellence. Focus on ensuring high-quality delivery, aligning business goals with technical execution, and solving complex technical challenges.
Location:
Hybrid, requiring 1 day per week onsite in Gdynia, Warsaw, Krakow, or Rzeszow, Poland
.
Salary: 20,000–26,000 PLN/month (B2B).

What you will do- Lead and develop the Language Intelligence engineering team.
- Take end-to-end ownership of delivery, quality, and reliability.
- Drive architectural decisions and technical direction.
- Ensure engineering excellence standards (code quality, testing, CI/CD, production readiness).
- Collaborate closely with Product, UX, and Business stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into technical solutions and execution plans.
- Min. 6 years of experience with Java.
- Experience with Kotlin and Python.
- Proven experience leading a software development team (people leadership + delivery ownership).
- Ability to contribute to architecture decisions and conduct high-quality code reviews.
- Experience in ensuring engineering excellence (clean code, testing strategy, CI/CD, production readiness).
- Strong ownership mindset and accountability for outcomes.
- Very good communication skills and knowledge of English.
- Hands-on Team Leader profile (~30% active coding, ~40% technical leadership, ~30% people leadership).
- Background in e-commerce, marketplace, or consumer platforms.
- Experience in mobile development or AI-powered projects.
- Real impact on product direction as a technical partner in product discovery.
- Strong ownership and autonomy in technical and delivery decisions.
