Junior Audio Programmer (Game Development):
Designing, implementing, and optimizing audio game systems and features with an accent on audio pipelines and tool development. Focus on supporting audio designers, adhering to coding standards, and improving efficiency in game audio production.
Location:
Onsite in Wrocław, Poland
Techland is a leading Polish video game company with over 30 years of experience, known for franchises like Call of Juarez and Dying Light, employing over 500 professionals across studios in Wrocław and Warsaw.
What you will do- Design, implement, and optimize audio game systems and features in collaboration with the audio team.
- Extend and optimize audio pipelines working with the engine team.
- Develop tools and processes to improve efficiency and quality.
- Create implementation plans and time estimates for tasks.
- Support and instruct audio designers on tool usage for best results.
- Maintain documentation and adhere to coding standards.
- Location:
Must work onsite in Wrocław, Poland - Strong practical knowledge of C++ and understanding of multi-threaded programming.
- Good math skills and understanding of sound implementation in games.
- Ability to read and understand existing codebases.
- Good command of English.
- Proactivity, flexibility, determination, and good communication skills.
- Experience working on multiple platforms.
- Experience with WWise or FMOD middleware.
