- System Integration:
Facilitating robust and efficient communication between internal microservices and proprietary components. - Booking & Ticketing Lifecycle:
Supporting core transactional flows, including ticket reservations, refunds, and exchanges. - Search & Optimization:
Powering backend algorithms designed to find and generate the most optimal flight connections. - Financial Calculations:
Handling complex pricing engines, fare structures, and diverse cost-assessment calculations.
- Design, code, test, and build high-quality enterprise software according to requirements.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve coding efficiency, code comprehension, and test generation while maintaining full ownership of decisions.
- Perform meaningful unit testing and maintain code quality, security, and performance standards.
- Design, build, deploy, and operate scalable services using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Collaborate with platform, security, and SRE teams to align solutions with cloud, security, and reliability standards.
- Support the Technical Product Manager in the preparation and refinement of requirements.
- Provide input to story prioritization, technical tradeoffs, and participate in estimation and sizing activities.
- Attend and actively participate in Scrum ceremonies, release planning, and technical reviews.
- Update status in Rally on a daily basis and continuously work with teams to improve engineering and Dev Ops practices.
- Minimum 8+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong expertise in Java / Enterprise Java and Spring Boot (enterprise-grade API design and maintenance).
- Solid knowledge of Web Services (REST, JSON, XML, SOAP).
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (Compute/GKE, networking, security, storage, messaging, and monitoring/observability tools).
- Familiarity with containerized and cloud-native architectures, including Kubernetes-based deployments.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, build tooling, and cloud-integrated Dev Ops practices.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues in test and production environments, improving stability and performance.
- Experience in translating business requirements into technical designs and producing technical documentation (with AI assistance).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and shift-left testing approaches.
- Communicative English and Polish (both written and spoken) suitable for cross-functional collaboration.
